Disabled Riders

All of our horses are very safe and well looked after by our team of staff and volunteers.

Our horses are amiable in adjusting to the needs of the disabled rider.

A stringent assessment programme is carried out within our environment to test the safety of the horses for this purpose.

Our teaching staff and voluntary helpers are fully supportive of the riders needs and adjust lessons accordingly. All riders must wear a riding hat & sensible footwear during the lesson.

We have a 5 year minimum age for riding.

We aim to ensure the riders safety at all times.

Our staff conform to all aspects of Health & Safety whilst providing a relaxing, enjoyable enviroment.

We have forms which will need to be completed by both you and your GP prior to riding for each individual, this informs of any special needs & disabilities together with contact information & riders ability.

The forms can be found under the Information tab and are downloadable to your computer.

You are very welcome to come along and just watch a lesson and see our horses prior to booking a lesson.

Our opening times are 9:00am to 5:30pm 7 days a week.

The cost of a disabled lesson;

Group lesson is £12

Semi Private lesson is £15

Private lesson is £20

Hat hire is £1

Please note we only accept Cash or Cheque - we do not accept any card payments.

If you need to cancel your lesson

You will be charged the full lesson fee if 48 hours notice of cancellation is not given. our answering machine is on 24 hours a day if no-one is available to take your phone call
